Specialist, Software Engineer | PolicyCenter Developer
NationwideOtherNationwide's Information Technology team is seeking a highly motivated Guidewire Policy Center Developer (Specialist, Software Engineer) to join our growing team.
We are looking for an individual who is passionate about innovation and delivering extraordinary care to our customers. As a Guidewire Policy Center Developer, you will support the PLS Product Pricing Value Stream and have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology initiatives such as Pricing Sophistication, PUL Redesign, and Extensive Protectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze, develop, test, debug, document, and deploy software according to standards in an agile environment.
- Apply secure software and systems engineering practices throughout the delivery lifecycle to ensure our data and technology solutions are protected from threats and vulnerabilities.
- Drive continuous improvement and learning through ongoing training, practice, and innovation.
- Manage medium to large project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables proactively.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience working with Guidewire products, specifically Guidewire Policy Center Version 10+.
- Experience with unit testing, code coverage, and best practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with IIBv10 Aggregation, Message Flows, Message Maps, and ESQL is a plus.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs, Kafka, Microservices, and SQL databases.
- Insurance experience is a plus.
- Understanding of DevOps and Agile methodologies.
